Whether or not we want to admit it, it’s that time of year. The signs are everywhere: pumpkin spice lattes are the latest must-have accessory, the remnants of neon pink pedicures are spotted in the streets, and stores are stocking their shelves with umbrellas and rubber boots. Yes, fall officially arrives this Sunday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have one last summer fling.
Vancouver Fashion Week is back for its 22nd season, bringing with it the Spring/Summer 2014 collections of designers from 15 countries and four continents. The six-day event takes place at the Chinese Cultural Centre, and includes multiple shows from homegrown talent such as JFG Designs, Indiverve, Papillon, Valerio Moda, and Heidi Daly.
With an expected attendance of more than 20,000 guests, VFW showcases both emerging and established designers to buyers, industry experts, media, and the general public. To purchase tickets, visit vanfashionweek.com, and send summer out in style.
