We are all guilty of it; the shopping equivalent of binging on Krispy Kremes and Junior Mints. Highly unpredictable, and sometimes unavoidable, an impulse purchase can lead to regret. Sometimes those purchases end up being utilized, but the worst case scenario is spending your hard earned money, only to bypass your new item everyday. Maybe it doesn’t fit right, you were never really sure about it in the first place, or it reminds you of your ex. Whatever the reason, that dress with the tags still on it is a big waste of money.
But all is not lost; if you live in Vancouver, there is an event coming up that you and your wallet will want to attend. Re-Fashion Vancouver is a local buy and sell fashion sale where one person’s buyers remorse is another person’s gain.
Re-Fashion Vancouver isn’t a clothing swap or flea market; it’s a selling place for strictly brand new or barely used clothing that looks new. For a $60 flat fee, sellers can purchase a 6′x6′ selling space with a clothing rack. For just $3, buyers can shop until they drop. Re-Fashion Vancouver is accepting selling applications until March 1, 2012, and all shapes, sizes, and colours are welcome.
