One of the unique things about living in Vancouver is the harmonious balance between nature and urban living. Picturesque views supply a small dose of mountain village vibe, but what if you want to experience the real thing?
I recently swapped the Vancouver rain for snow, and made the 90 minute drive to Whistler Blackcomb. Each year, 2.1 million outdoor enthusiasts flock to Whistler to experience mountain biking, downhill skiing, snowboarding, tubing, ziplining, snowshoeing, ice skating, snowmobiling, hiking, cross-country skiing, horseback riding, and fishing.
With my trusty camera in hand, I snapped my way through my trip as I shopped the village, had some fun with winter fashion, went snowshoeing, and of course, sampled the hot chocolate.
