The personality and character of a vintage pair of heels can’t be denied. There’s also no arguing the fabulous feeling of putting on a new little black dress for the first time. I found my eye-catching pumps at the salvation army in Marpole for just $6. They are made leather, and feature a slightly angled toe.
My MK LBD is extremely versatile. I dressed it up with a fitted collarless blazer, and a bold red lip. Alternatively, I can dress it down with a pair of flats, a long cardigan, and a simple accessory like a chunky watch.
Embracing the past and the present, I headed out for my celebratory birthday night on the town to reflect on the past year, and look forward to all the exciting things that the new one will bring.
