I’m a sucker for anything classic, elegant, or vintage; when I found this houndstooth dress that just happens to be all three, I was ecstatic.
I thrifted this triple threat at a thrift store in St. Catharines, Ontario for just $6. I’m always on the hunt for a dress with long sleeves, but new or vintage, they are extremely hard to come by. It’s a classic look that creates a streamlined silhouette and an effortless outfit.
My entire outfit is thrifted, and cost just $12 total. I accessorized my vintage dress with a pair of white vintage cage-toe heels (I swear, I took these photos before Labour Day).
I love the classic fit of the dress, combined with the elegant houndstooth pattern. In order to break up the pattern a bit, I added a brown snakeskin print leather belt with a gold clasp. Come to think of it, that’s a tripple thrifted threat.
Dress ($6), Heels ($4), and Leather Belt ($2): Thrifted. Terquoise and silver ring: marketplace.

This dress fits you perfectly, what a steal! I love how your entire outfit is vintage yet totally looks fresh and modern
