With a pumpkin spice latte in hand, I recently revisited my youth and spent the afternoon at a local pumpkin patch. It was a crisp fall day, so I took the opportunity to wear two of my favorite Thrift Store Scores: my navy blue vintage driving gloves and a cozy wool jacket.

I found the gloves at the Penticton Value Village for just $3. They are made out of a light but durable leather, and feature an adorable button closure at the wrist. I found the jacket at a family owned thrift store in Vancouver, and at $5, it was a steal. It’s the perfect oversized wool jacket that fits over bulky sweaters, and it’s incredibly warm. If I want a more fitted look, I use a belt to give me some shape.

Thanks to floppy hats, long scarves, and warm sweaters, fall is my favorite time of year. I’m a city girl at heart, but there’s nothing like a fall drive, some fresh air, and a pumpkin or two.
