They say that a little black dress is a wardrobe essential, but I’m willing to argue that a pair of black boots is just as important.
I found these lace up boots at a thrift store for $5, and just one step in them made me realize that I had to have them. They are lined with a light fleece and are slightly broken in, making them extra comfortable. My new black boots are perfect for fall, and have a bit of a military feel to them.
They remind me of the jazz boots that I used to have, when I was fooled into thinking that I had the ability to dance. If I can’t dance, I might as well look like I can.
