Although I’m crazy for anything vintage, I often come back from the thrift store with vintage and contemporary items. Today’s thrift store score is a pair of Banana Republic leather sandals with a slight platform. They are in perfect condition and are sky high. Thanks to the platform, the 4 inch heel actually doesn’t feel so bad. These are like nothing else I own, which is another reason that I love thrifting. It gives you an opportunity to wear pieces that you might not normally wear, don’t currently own, or want to try without breaking the bank. I got these heels for $3.50, at a thrift store that I stumbled upon. I’m thinking of wearing these with a pair of skinny jeans and a big purse.
