When it comes to necklaces, I’m always looking for unique statement pieces. A strong necklace can change the entire sentiment of an outfit and depending on the brand you buy, is a lot cheaper than buying new clothing. My collection ranges from a studded lucite necklace to a faux flower bib, and actually got so large that I commissioned a custom necklace rack to organize them all for me.
My latest addition to my (constantly growing) collection is this handsome stag necklace from Choies. It’s actually four separate pieces and is strung together by hooks, making it sit comfortably flat no matter what you’re wearing. I paired it with a breezy tent top and a pair of skinny dress pants, which balances out my loose lavender top.
Speaking of comfortable, when it comes to footwear, I’m the first one to admit that I have no patience for anything uncomfortable. My schedule is hectic, so the last thing I need is a pair of sore feet nagging at me all day. I recently re-discovered ECCO, a brand that is famous for comfortable shoes, and my tired feet did a happy dance with relief. Normally I shy away from wearing heels that are over two inches all day, but these three-inch maroon boots are definitely made for walking.
