One of my favorite “happy places” in Vancouver is Spa Utopia. The people, service, treatments, food, atmosphere and of course, the products, are incredible. I only treat myself once a year, and when I do, it’s well deserved. On a recent visit, I decided to bring a little piece of heaven home with me, and try their Spa Utopia Rosemary Mint Shower Gel and Body Lotion. Remember when you were a kid and bath time wasn’t just another thing on your “to-do” list? I am five again.
I can be picky with my bath and beauty products; the scent can’t be too strong, but it also can’t be too mild. The product also needs to have the right viscosity, leave minimal residue, and a long-lasting scent. At $20 a bottle, it’s an indulgence, but the bottles are “extra stressed” size, and a little goes a long way. My schedule can be blamed for the main source of most of my stress, and a soothing product is an easy way to slow down, relax, and enjoy the small pleasures of life.
