Drum roll, please…
I have officially finished my project for the Habitat for Humanity Ultimate Upcycle Challenge. I turned a pile of old wood boxes into a vintage barn wood inspired bookshelf. Can you believe this entire project cost me less than $60?
100% of my materials came from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, with the exception of the homemade apple cider vinegar and steel wool stain that I made myself (stay tuned for the tutorial). To decorate my vintage style bookshelf, I spray painted metal hardware and wallpapered the back of the bookshelf.
Now it’s time to vote! Please vote for my item here by liking the page and then clicking on “vote” next to my project.
Check out my upcycled bookshelf and all the other gorgeous entries at the Habitat for Humanity booth at the Vancouver Home + Design Show.
