Runway at Winners – Italian Leather Shoes, Oversized Suede Purses, Sparkling Jewels, and Fierce Frocks

Twice a year, the hearts of luxury-loving fashionista’s start fluttering with excitement from the thought of nabbing  designer items at deeply discounted prices .  The Runway at Winners event offers luxury, high end, and coveted brands at 30-70% off their original retail price.

I attended the official Runway launch at the Robson and Granville Winners in downtown Vancouver, and prepared to practice my restraint, in order to avoid grabbing every item in sight.  I arrived bright and early before the store opened to view coveted clutches, shimmering skirts, brilliant blazers, and pretty pumps.

I was only in the store a few feet when I spotted a leather bag that I have been obsessively stalking online for months, and a pair of designer sunglasses that I recently purchased for almost twice the price on the Winners tag.  Sometimes, shopping can sting.

The original (full price) tags were often still on the items, and the difference between the retail price and the Winners price was substantial. This dusty rose beaded and sequence skirt was half off the retail price, and this luxury men’s blazer was 60% off the regular price.

The finds were incredible, and I couldn’t help but feel like I was browsing a high end department store.  I even found the skirt that was featured in the Winners advertising campaign, which was selling for more than $350 off the retail price.
