Anyone that works in a creative industry knows that although it may look glamorous, it’s not always a guarantee. Late nights, tight deadlines, high expectations, and fierce competition are everyday realities that writers, actors, producers, dancers, painters, and people in many other professions know all to well. Everyone is chasing their dreams and following their passion; it kind of sounds like a reality TV show.
The creator of MTV’s Sorority Life, Sergio Myers, thought so too.
Frock My World is a reality series that is centred around a group of young women (including myself), who work/go to school by day, and write about fashion at night. frockOn features writers from four different countries around the world, and it has become more than just a fashion website to me. It is my virtual fashion family, with family rules based on passion, support, perseverance, and love.
The first episode of Frock My World premiers on Facebook this Sunday April 15, 2012; until then, check out the Frock My World teaser below.
