Whether you blame it on genetics, age, environment, food, or lack of sleep, our skin changes frequently throughout our lifetime. If you’re anything like me, you feel like your skin suddenly changed overnight, and now you’re fighting a losing battle.
It was like a switch went off in my body, and my dry skin became normal/oily overnight. My entire life, I armed myself with moisturizing and conditioning products, which I continued to use, thinking it must have been something I ate, put on my skin, or was exposed to. After months of frustration, I knew it was time for a new approach. My skin officially changed, and it was time to start working with it instead of against it.
I was given the opportunity to try out the new KORRES line of Wild Rose and Pomegranate Skin products, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. I was looking for new products to try, and KORRES is a brand that I’ve turned to in the past. Their products contain quality ingredients, and they are a company that is deeply rooted in science, homeopathic pharmacy, natural ingredients, and the environment.

I started using the KORRES Wild Rose Daily Brightening & Refinishing Buff Cleanser, a gentle yet effective exfoliating cleanser enriched with wild rose oil. Rice grain, cherry stone, and sugar-citrus gently exfoliate as you use it, leaving behind a subtle rose aroma. The cleanser easily removed my eye makeup (bonus points for simplicity), and took all traces of the day’s makeup with it.
To combat my oily skin, I used KORRES Pomegranate Toner with 15% Pomegranate water and natural astringents. The Wild Rose Cleanser left my skin feeling a bit tight, and the toner instantly re-hydrated and mattified my skin.
Even oily skin needs moisturizing, so I used KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial. As the name suggests, it works at night while you sleep, which means no daytime moisturizer shine to battle. It’s suitable for all skin types and works to brighten, firm, and fade age spots while you catch some Z’s.
I’ve been using the system for three weeks so far, and I’ve already noticed dramatic improvements: about 60% of my blemishes and redness has disappeared, the day-to-day shine on my t-zone is finally manageable, my skin appears brighter, and I feel fantastic. If this is what three natural products can do in three weeks, I can’t wait to see what my skin looks like in three months from now.
In Canada, KORRES can be found exclusively at Sephora and Shoppers Drugmart. Later this week, Van City Pretty will be giving away all three steps in my new skin regiment routine, so be sure to check back and enter.

Hey, Kendra. I like the sounds of this and the price points are great.. do you think it suitable for aging skin? And what did you use for a daytime moisturizer… a bit confused on that point.
Great review… will be looking for your giveaway.
Hi Elle!
Great questions! I actually haven’t been using daytime moisturizer because my skin is more than moisturized all by itself (for better or worse). These products are definitely appropriate for aging skin, but I think that the KORRES Quercetin and Oak Antiageing line may be exactly what you’re looking for (check it out here: http://vancitypretty.com/contests/korres-contest/ and here: http://tinyurl.com/9jlqp8y).
I also had the opportunity to try this in the past, and I really love it. Hope this helps!
Thanks so much. Appreciate your quick and thoughtful response and the link.
